Frequently Asked Questions — Silent Disco Hire in Bali

  • Yes — this is one of the main reasons couples and event planners choose silent disco in Bali. Because all music is delivered wirelessly through headsets rather than broadcast through speakers, there is no amplified external sound.   • Ideally we like to be informed ~4 weeks before the event, however we can take bookings sooner should we have headsets available. To make sure you don’t miss out, we suggest booking as far in advance as you can.

    For custom displays, we need a minimum of 1 months notice.

  • We recommend you rent 1 head set per guest so everybody gets an opportunity to participate.

    If you’re hosting a kids party, we suggest 1 per child - that way the adults can still enjoy the party, separately from the kids.

  • Our head phones are really easy to use and comfortable to wear! They will be delivered fully cleaned, sanitised and charged.

    All guests need to do is switch it on, adjust volume and choose their channel. Our head phones are wireless and can be enjoyed up to 400 metres from the display.

  • We can connect your DJ directly to our transmitter system so their live mix is broadcast through the headsets. If you need a DJ recommendation, we're happy to suggest trusted partners we've worked with across Bali — just ask when you enquire.

  • Typically, your wedding would run as usual, and then the silent disco can commence later in the evening - after meals and speeches.

    We suggest you still run background music at the venue so guests who don’t participate still have some ambience to enjoy.

  • You have full control over the music. You can provide your own Spotify playlists, supply a pre-recorded audio file, or connect a live DJ directly to our transmitter system. With up to 3 channels available, you can run three completely different genres or playlists simultaneously. Find out more about our multi-channel setup.

  • Included in our rental fee (for 50+ headsets) is delivery to areas in South Bali - from Ubud, to Canggu, to Sanur and down to Uluwatu. If your event is outside these areas, ask us about the delivery fee.

  • Yes — our headsets are adjustable and fit both adults and children comfortably. Each guest controls their own volume, which is particularly useful for younger guests who may be sensitive to loud sound. We recommend 1 headset per child so everyone can participate at their own comfort level.

  • Our team typically arrives 30-60 minutes before your event start time to set up the display, test the transmitters, and ensure all headsets are charged and ready. Pack-down takes approximately 30 minutes after the event ends.

  • The client is responsible for any loss or damage during the event. The replacement cost for a headset is IDR 1,000,000. Our party hosts manage the headsets throughout the event to minimise the risk of loss. We also offer disposable hygiene covers on request.

  • Yes — if you'd like to extend at the time of the event, subject to approval from the venue and your event organiser, we charge IDR 20,000 per headset per 30 minutes, invoiced after the event.
