Bali Silent Disco Run Rave
What Happens When a Run Club Meets a Silent Disco?
You get something Bali — and the rest of the world — has never seen before.
Run Rave is the collision of two of the best things happening in Bali right now: the unstoppable rise of the island's run club culture, and the silent disco experience that's been turning heads (and blowing minds) at events across the island.
The concept is simple. Strap on your glow-in-the-dark silent disco headphones. Watch a DJ roll up on the back of a truck. And casually run 5km through the Canggu Shortcut in the dark — music pumping directly into your ears, the Bali sunrise cracking open ahead of you — surrounded by people doing exactly the same thing.
Then? A full-on coffee rave at Atelier Sandwich. Breakfast tapas. Pastries. Good people. The kind of morning that makes you wonder why you ever slept past 5am.
Volume 1: How It All Started
27 May 2026. 5:30am. The Canggu Shortcut.
Bali Silent Disco teamed up with Entourage Run Club, Atelier Sandwich and Zilys Social Club to host the first ever silent disco run in Bali.
No sign-ups. No ticket fee. Just a time, a location, and an invitation to show up. Over 100 people did.
They gathered in the pitch black at 5:30am, strapped on their glow-in-the-dark wireless headphones, completed a fun 10 minute warm up and followed a mobile DJ and MC blasting club tracks from the back of a jeep — down the Canggu Shortcut, the iconic narrow pathway threading through Bali's famous rice fields, as the sun cracked open on the horizon ahead of them.

The Experience, Step by Step
5:30am — Arrive in the dark It's still pitch black when you arrive. Our team fits you with your glow-in-the-dark Bali Silent Disco headset. Around you, 100+ sets of headphones light up the dark. The energy is already something else.
5:35am — Warm Up Our MC will take you through a fun warm up and explain the route.
5:45am — The truck rolls A DJ and MC climb onto the back of a moving jeep. The music drops. Club tracks fill your ears. The truck starts to roll — and so does the crowd.
The Run You're running down the Canggu Shortcut at a fun and leisurely pace — the iconic narrow pathway through Bali's rice fields — in the dark, in near-silence for anyone watching, with a private rave happening inside your headphones. Ahead of you, the jeep. Around you, glowing headsets as far as you can see. And on the horizon, the Bali sunrise beginning to break.
No noise. No disturbance. Just you, the beat, and everyone around you chasing the same sunrise.
Post-run: The Coffee Rave continues. Refreshments, coffee, breakfast tapas and pastries. The headphones keep going. The community stays. The kind of morning that completely resets what you thought a weekday in Bali could be.
Why Silent Disco Makes Running Better
Here's the thing about running with headphones in: you already know the music makes it better. But there's something different about this.
When everyone around you is hearing the same DJ, the same drop, the same beat — a 5km run stops feeling like exercise and starts feeling like a shared experience. You look across at a stranger and you both know. You're in it together.
The glow-in-the-dark headsets turn a run club into a spectacle. The DJ truck turns a morning jog into a moment. And the sunrise over Canggu does the rest.
It also means zero noise disturbance for the neighbourhood, the temples, the villas and the locals waking up around you. The Bali Silent Disco way: the party is all yours, and it bothers absolutely no one.
